Rotaract is a program within Rotary created in 1968. Rotaract clubs bring together young professionals to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.
On a global scale, there are over 10,900 Rotaract Club and more than 250,000 Rotaractors spanning over 184 countries, making Rotaract one of the largest youth organizations in the world.
Rotaract clubs can either be post-secondary institutions or community based. They are run by its members, providing an opportunity for young adults to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, while giving back to the community on both a community and an international level. Rotaract members have the chance to connect with like-minded people internationally who believe in networking and service above self.
For members interested in leadership, they can take initiative in planning events that address needs in the community and collaborate with Rotary and Rotaract clubs and partners around the world; we can achieve so much more by working together to inspire change.
